What is this privacy policy for?

This policy explains when, why and how Gaea collects personal information about individuals. These may be individuals who visit the website, or trial sites’ staff or others involved in a clinical trial. It describes how Gaea uses the information, the conditions under which it may be disclose it to others, and how It is kept it secure and rights to erasure.

Gaea may change this policy from time to time, so please check this page occasionally to ensure that you’re happy with any changes.

What is GaeaOÜ?

GaeaOÜ is a clinical research organisation (CRO) which is organising and managing clinical trials, and Gaea Trial Acceleration conducts trial enrolment acceleration, assisting other CROs’ trials to improve enrolment of patients.

How does Gaea collect information about you?

Gaea obtains information about you when you use the website and complete the contact form.

What type of information is collected?

The personal information Gaea collects via the message tab includes your name and email.

Gaea reviews the retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. Gaea is legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil its statutory obligations. Gaea will hold your personal information on our systems for a period of five-years.

As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, via email and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. If we have given a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. If a personal data breach occurs, we will take immediate steps to rectify and report it to  www.aki.ee.This Data Protection Inspectorate represents Estonia on the European Data Protection Board.
